Summer Boosts Coastal Sales in Bulgarian Property

The height of the summer season always brings a record number of tourists to Bulgaria, who wants to bask in its sunshine and enjoy its glorious beaches.  Visitors trooping to this holiday country are increasing by over 6 percent annually and they are not just coming from nearby European countries but also from other parts of the globe.

This growth in Bulgarian tourists is resulting also in quite a number of people who want to invest in Bulgaria.  The demand on consumerism is so high in the country that the prices of its properties have hiked to over 70 percent just in the past three years, as based on an article on The Wall Street Journal.

This huge demand of properties in Bulgaria is due to several big factors and these are:

  • It is a market that has prices that are quite affordable to everyone.
  • Properties by the sea, on the mountains and in the city are available to suit all preferences.
  • There is great value for your money in Bulgaria because it has the lowest living cost in Europe and the properties are also priced considerably cheaper compared to other tourist spots in the European Union.
  • It is a marketplace that is expected to grow substantially in the coming years because of the number of tourists and potential investors that registered at 4 million in 2004 and is expected to become 10 million this year.
  • There has been a great deal of publicity generated for Bulgaria through constant tri-media coverage.
  • Easy access to the country is made possible by low cost flights.

There are many great spots in Bulgaria like first class resorts such as Golden Sands and Sunny Beach that summer visitors all flock towards.  The quaint town of Nessebar is also one of the tourist attractions in the country.  This influx of tourists especially during the summer season has lured a lot of investors to earn big money in Bulgaria.  This has resulted in the large increase of inquiries when it comes to the sale of properties along the Bulgarian coastline.

Developers who want to make the most money are now into making luxurious apartments that come complete with favorable facilities and amenities.  There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools on the sites of these apartment complexes as well as fitness and relaxation centers that comprise of gyms and spas.  There are also golf courses and casinos available while most of the apartments are also provided with perfect views of the sea.  These apartments are either for sale or for rent.

Because prices for these properties are expected to go sky-high as years go by, investors will do well for themselves if they make a move now in buying a summer property in Bulgaria.  An investor who is diligent enough can score bargains when it comes to buying properties.  With the increasing number of visitors to Bulgaria, anyone who starts investing in the country now could definitely expect splendid returns on his investment in just a span of two or three years.
